The New Caledonian crested gecko belongs to the Diplodactylidae family and was first described by Guichenot in 1866. It was considered extinct until its rediscovery in 1994 by Seipp & Klemmer.

We sell our geckos at an age of approximately 4 months (at least 20 grams and a size of approx. 10 cm) after they have hatched. During this time, they are raised by us and provided with all necessary vitamins. However, sex determination can only be reliably done after 6 months. Therefore, release with a specific sex is only possible from that point on.
