Our Little Dragons

Here you will find an overview of our bearded dragon offspring. Each reptile is checked several times a day from the moment it hatches and only receives food that is fortified with vitamins. The animals are also checked by a veterinarian.

The Inland Bearded Dragon (scientific name: Pogona vitticeps) is a species of lizard native to Australia, belonging to the family Agamidae. It is also known by its English name "Central Bearded Dragon".

Adult animals reach a total length of about 40 to 60 centimeters, with the tail accounting for about half of the length. The weight of adult animals is 250g – 510g. The base color varies from sand-colored to grey to reddish-brown. Characteristic are the stripes on the head, which give the species its name. In case of danger or stress, bearded dragons spread their throat ("beard"), which turns dark.
