Daylight Sun T5 + ECO

The Daylight Sun T5 is a fluorescent tube specially developed for illuminating terrariums. UV radiation has been deliberately omitted; instead, the tube was designed for maximum light output. For diurnal reptiles, high light intensity and a sunlight-like spectrum are important. The Daylight Sun T5 achieves 40% higher light intensity than comparable T8 fluorescent tubes. In addition, more of the slim T5 tubes can be installed in the same area. This maximizes light output. For bearded dragons and other sun-loving lizards, it simply cannot be bright enough. The Daylight Sun T5 has a particularly sun-like bi-light spectrum that guarantees the best possible light quality and well-being. It is therefore ideal for all reptiles and also for plant growth, ensuring balanced light with rich colors. As basic lighting, the Daylight Sun should not be missing in any terrarium.

The Daylight Sun T5 ECO was developed for use with the Light Strip T5 ECO. It is a T5 High-Efficiency tube, which is characterized by high energy efficiency. T5 HE tubes provide the same lumen output as conventional T8 tubes but consume 25% less power. Due to its bi-light spectrum, the Daylight Sun T5 ECO offers the best possible light quality. Bi-light is characterized by good color rendering and a very sun-like spectrum. The Daylight Sun T5 ECO is our recommendation for snakes, amphibians, and invertebrates.
