NEKTON-Rep Electrolyte is an electrolyte mixture specially developed to maintain fluid and electrolyte balance in reptiles. The body fluid in reptiles consists largely of water and certain salts - electrolytes. Electrolytes are minerals that are electrically charged when dissolved in a liquid. The most important electrolytes in the body include the positively charged cations sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium, as well as the negatively charged anions chloride, bicarbonate and phosphate.

These electrolytes help regenerate nerve and muscle function and keep the acid-base and water balance stable.
