A "Leatherback Bearded Dragon" is a breeding form that, due to a genetic mutation, has a greatly reduced or absent number of spines. These bearded dragons have a smooth back and hardly any spines on their body, but still have spines on their sides and beard. The coloration is often more intense in this morph. They reach a head-body length of about 250 mm and a tail length of up to about 300 mm. They require a species-appropriate enclosure with UV light, heat, and humidity levels between 30–40% (up to 60% at night).
